Educe Design is an Australian design-led studio specialising in concrete bathtubs, basins, vanities, and samples. Our work focuses on material performance, proportion, and long-term use in bathroom environments. All products are made to order in our Hobart workshop using Ultra High Performance Concrete (UHPFRC) developed in-house, allowing refined forms, durability, and a tactile matte surface. We supply homeowners, architects, and interior designers Australia-wide.

Our collections are defined by restraint, proportion, and material honesty. Products are shaped by use, scale, and ergonomics rather than decoration, allowing them to sit comfortably within contemporary homes and considered architectural interiors. The character of each piece comes from the concrete itself — subtle variation, depth of colour, and surface texture — rather than applied finishes. Designing and manufacturing in Hobart gives us full control over material formulation, casting, and finishing.

We do custom concrete work…
In addition to our standard collections, Educe Design undertakes custom concrete work for residential and architectural projects. This includes bespoke vanities, benchtops, and architectural elements, as well as custom signage and furniture. Each project is approached with the same attention to material behaviour, proportion, and finish quality.
Material, Making, Specification
Our concrete is formulated specifically for bathroom and architectural environments, combining strength, density, and longevity with a refined matte finish. Developed and produced in-house, the material enables precise detailing, thinner sections, and consistent performance across the range. Subtle variation in tone and texture is an inherent part of the casting process and contributes to the individuality of each piece.
All products are cast, finished, and sealed by hand in our Hobart workshop. A curated range of 30 colours is available across the collection, with colour integral to the concrete rather than applied as a surface treatment.
